A Word from Our Director

People choose careers in athletics for a variety of reasons. Perhaps they love sports and it is their passion, or maybe it presents the most attractive avenue to earn a substantial living. I chose a career in athletics and coaching because lacrosse has always been a passion of mine, and I want to spend my life teaching and mentoring student-athletes. Some of my greatest teachers in school and life have been my coaches. I recognize and appreciate the education and mentoring that takes place in the player/coach relationship. Through the CARES program I will be able to provide that type of environment to as many student-athletes as possible. The end result is to talk about character development with the student-athletes in the hope that they will incorporate what they learn into their daily lives and become better players, better teammates, and better human beings because of their involvement in the program.
